We have just spent three glorious weeks at Drumhead. Spectacular peaceful rural location with views from every window. The house is immaculate, clean, modern and well-equipped- great beds,modern bathroom and kitchen, huge effective rotary washing line.
The outside patio is a very special place of an evening or early morning -just you and nature on the comfy outdoor sofa or the dining area.
The indoor sofas are comfortable too- my teenage daughter loved lounging on them.
The hot tub is very luxurious, especially as you have the great views all around. Felt really spoilt.
We loved the peace, the freshest air, the gorgeous cows in the field next door and the privacy.
The owner, Donna, is the best hostess- next door if you need anything and full of local knowledge. (We had Storm Floris and a brief power cut during our stay and were quickly provided with a gas camping stove which made it fun!)
As we head home we can’t wait to return.

Just returned from our fourth stay at Drumhead Cottage and, as ever, had a wonderful stay! I had mentioned to Donna when booking that we were celebrating a birthday and, to my delight, we arrived to find lots of banners, balloons, a cake and fizz - it was so thoughtful of Donna and went down a treat with the birthday girl!
The cottage is immaculately clean and has high quality furnishings ensuring the most relaxing of stays. It’s always a treat to relax in the hot tub with the friendly neighbourhood cows.
The cottage is ideally situated for day trips around Royal Deeside and the farm shop is just a short walk away for fine treats.
Already planning our fifth visit - it’s our happy place and a real home from home

We recently spent a wonderful few days at Drumhead Cottage. In fact we can hardly remember staying in a place where we relaxed as quickly as we did here. The cottage was spacious, well equipped with good quality items, clean and very comfortable.

It’s in a beautiful corner of Aberdeenshire. There was lots to do nearby. And it felt a real treat to be able to relax in the hot tub when we returned to the cottage - enjoying the last of the day’s sun.

Particular thanks to Donna, for her helpfulness and kindness during our stay. We’re already thinking about a return visit before long!

Just had a lovely long weekend at Drumhead Cottage. Absolutely loved the house, everything you need is included, very well equipped. Perfect location for Tarland , Banchory, Aboyne and other areas. Donna perfect host, made us feel very welcome especially leaving us a bottle of fizz and some shortbread to enjoy. Hot tub fab, great to relax after action packed day. Hoping to return and would definitely recommend booking. Thank you

We had a fabulous week here in a beautiful cottage exceptionally well equipped and very comfortable. Beautiful views and set in such a lovely area.
